The Farm

About a month ago I went back to Colorado for a visit.  My sisters and I headed up north to my parents house for Easter weekend and we spent Saturday at The Farm.  Its a great little working farm in downtown Fort Collins.  My twin sister used to work there during the summers when we were in high school and was a camp counselor for their summer camps.  Just walking down the sidewalks and smelling that ol' familiar "farm-y" air of fresh hay and animals brought back a lot of memories.  I think my wee little niece and nephew enjoyed all of the farm animals, especially San who is learning his animal sounds!

Skype-athon

My twin sister and I have never let our physical distance get in the way.  We still speak several times a day and about every other day we have a mini Skype sessions.  Its also the time I get to see my niece Everdeen and I swear every time I see her she has grown a little more.

STOP GROWING SO FAST!!!

Did you ever get annoyed at adults when you were little who would ALWAYS say this to you?  Especially the little old ladies at church.  I would just want to roll my eyes and secretly say, "geeze louise, I'm not a baby anymore!"

But now I know how they felt.
:)

She obviously has better things to do then to sit and listen to grown-up chit chat.

Radar of Doom

Not exactly what you want to see when you are about to drive home.

Hello Summer.  Hello Rainy Season.

Notice how the darkest red doesn't even show up on the key.  Is this somehow supposed to make me feel better mr. weather man?

And guess who also decided to make their appearance today in full force after a two year summer hiatus?

The Lovebugs.

Oh summer, we might be enemies come December.
